"To
restore the Blacklegs Creek Watershed to
its natural condition so that it may support a
healthy aquatic habitat from the headwaters to
its confluence with the Kiskiminetas River"

Where Are We?
Many people confuse our
group with the Black Lick Creek Watershed Association due to our similar names.
We sometimes refer to ourselves as the forgotten watershed in southwestern
Pennsylvania due to our relatively small size and limited exposure to this
point. The Blacklegs Creek watershed is located in southern Indiana County with
a small portion of the watershed extending just across the Armstrong County line
in the west. The watershed encompasses an approximate 45 square acre area. A
