Fast Facts

This project was an added bonus to the Kolb Discharge Treatment Facility in that it provided funds for the development of this website as well as the production of advertising materials for our organization. At this time, the directors were unsure as to how to use the advertising funds. Preliminary indications are the organization will have streamside signs erected. Please visit the Watershed Association Promotion project page for the details of the project. Below are some quick facts regarding the project:

Project Information

The Blackleggs Creek Watershed Association continually strives to develop new membership while educating and developing current members. This project is being completed to assist us in these efforts. As you can see, the website is one product of this project. Although it may not seem like much now, we plan to expand the site over the next several years.

Another component of this project was the construction and placement of two streamside signs, which will be used to advertise our organization and efforts. One of the signs can be found on Route 286 East, just beyond the Conemaugh Township shed. The other sign can be found adjacent to the Kolb AMD treatment project.
